Affirmations, those powerful mantras we repeat in hopes of manifesting our desires, carry more weight than we might realize. In my book, I share a story inspired by “The Power of the Subconscious Mind” by Joseph Murphy, about a father who, desperate for his daughter’s health to improve, declared he’d sacrifice his right arm for her well-being. Astonishingly, he later lost his arm, showcasing the profound impact our words can have on reality.
This concept hit close to home for me. Once, I found myself wishing, almost challenging the universe, to find a way for me to stay home permanently with my family, tired of the daily grind and traffic jams. As time passed, I moved on from this thought, but the universe hadn’t forgotten. My desire was unexpectedly granted through a life-changing stroke, right before a dance class I was set to teach. It was a stark reminder: be mindful of what you wish for.
Since then, I’ve reshaped my approach to affirmations, using them to nurture a positive and focused mindset. Daily, I recite affirmations that uplift and motivate me, such as:
-I’m the greatest!
-I’m the best!
-You Khanh Do It!
-Yes You Khanh.
-All I do is Nguyen no matter what!
-I love winning!
-Let’s go!
-Get it done!
-Beastmode.
-I’m proud of myself.
-I love you Phởever.
-I’m grateful, humbled, and blessed!
-Thank you for this amazing day!
-I’m ready to rock the world!
But affirmations alone aren’t enough. They set the mental stage, but achieving our dreams requires inspired action. My affirmations now align with health, happiness, and prosperity. I envision giving inspirational speeches, enjoying life’s pleasures, and dancing my heart out, all while financial abundance flows effortlessly to me. The dream? Living in Del Mar, San Diego, with my dream partner, a testament to the positive power of affirmations.
However, my journey taught me a crucial lesson: affirmations manifest reality, so choose them wisely. My stroke, initially seen as a curse, revealed itself as a blessing, freeing me from the rat race and allowing me to live on passive income. Now, my affirmations focus on healing, movement, joy, and contributing to the world in meaningful ways.
What about you? What affirmations do you hold dear, and how have they shaped your life? Share your thoughts below, and let’s inspire each other with the power of our words.
