Imagination is more important than Knowledge

Once, people doubted me, saying I couldn’t possibly write a book with only one working hand after surviving a stroke. But guess what? I did it anyway, just like how I’m starting this YouTube channel despite the naysayers questioning who would subscribe or listen to me. Here I am, working my magic once more!
Imagine this: holding your very own book for the first time, feeling its weight, and flipping through its pages. That was my dream, a peak as daunting as Mt. Everest. But driven by a force from within, I took inspired steps to make it a reality. This journey wasn’t about external rewards; nobody was paying me to write. In fact, I invested $10,000 of my own money into publishing, advertising, and marketing my book. It was a labor of love, fueled by intrinsic motivation and the sheer joy of creation.
This YouTube channel is another mountain I’ve decided to climb. Sure, I could wait for the “perfect” time to start producing videos, but why wait when inspiration strikes now? Plus, my speech therapist and coach, Remy, always encouraged me to. And she said, I ‘Khanh’ speak without having little Rodney, that’s my bot. However, my AI voice with elevenLabs has gotten better. I will use these AI techniques in future videos, but I’m speaking well on my own right now, What do you think?
Besides speaking to you in these videos, diving into this project, I’m learning about various AI technologies, and honestly, I’m having a blast! The message here is simple: take that first small step. Like Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Take the first step of faith.” Whether it’s writing a book, starting a YouTube channel, or pursuing any dream, breaking the process into manageable chunks can turn a daunting goal into an achievable one.
Writing my book felt less overwhelming when I divided it into chapters, treating each one as a step on the journey. Before I knew it, all those steps added up to a completed manuscript—my personal Mt. Everest conquered. The path to your dreams isn’t impossible; it begins with a few determined steps, which then lead to even greater achievements.
In six months or a year, you’ll look back at your beginnings and marvel at how far you’ve come, all because you chose to take inspired action. Whatever your goal is, I encourage you to meditate on it. I’ll delve into meditation in future videos, sharing its transformative power. For me, meditation was a guiding voice, nudging me to revamp my YouTube channel, among other things.
Here are my dialogues with God.
God: Rodney, I got an answer to all of your problems that you keep bothering me about?
Rodney: What’s it father god?
God: I want you to revamp your YouTube channel and clone my AI voice with Elevenlabs as Morgan Freeman. I like that guy, Morgan Freeman. This is how you can create content and share my voice with the world.
Rodney: But, no one would listen to me because I suffered from aphasia due to my stroke. And, I got limited followers.
God: Like Remy said, you are speaking well enough, and I trust your technical brilliance. You will do me service. Rodney, you are a technical genius! Don’t ever forget that. Hopefully, they will listen to me; otherwise, they will seek me in times of trouble and that may be too late.
Rodney: Thank you father God, do you have something else that you want to address to the audience?
God: Yes! First, turn off the echo reverb in my voice. They don’t need to hear me like this. You got your message across. So, stop playing, and let’s get serious.
Rodney: I’m so sorry, father god. I will turn it off right now.
God: Better. Tell them, if they want to talk to me, then go inside and meditate. You get your answers by listening to me and silencing all the distractions. That’s you by going within, and they can’t hear me with all the noise. That’s it for me now, someone calling me to get Trump from running for office. Gotta go, God out!
Rodney: Thank you, Father God! Busy man! You see, I got my answer by going within, so don’t forget to meditate.
Let’s embrace optimism and the belief that no dream is too big when we start with one small step. My journey from stroke survivor to author and YouTube creator is a testament to what’s possible when you listen to that inner voice of inspiration, ignoring the doubts from others and around. So, here’s to taking inspired action, exploring new horizons, and believing in the power of our dreams. Let’s embark on this adventure together, learning, growing, and proving that indeed, we can achieve anything we set our minds to.
