Hey family! I’m excited to share with you the top 6 recent books that have been keeping me company lately. Reading is my go-to for calming my mind and seeking wisdom. It’s like Albert Einstein once said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” For me, reading is the perfect blend of imagination and knowledge, helping me craft something unique and timely.
1. Let’s dive into “One Law, One Truth, I Am, I Create” by Erin Werley first. This book takes us on a meditative journey where Erin chats with God, and these conversations with her husband get recorded and shared in the book. It’s a fascinating read that reinforces what I’ve always believed about meditation.
Speaking of conversations with God, I’ve found solace and solutions during late-night programming work, thanks to these divine dialogues. And guess what? I’ve even brought Morgan Freeman’s voice into the mix as God using AI voice cloning technology with elevenLabs, making these conversations even more lifelike.
2. Then there’s “Influence Unleashed” by Victoria Petterier, teaching me about leadership through courage, vulnerability, and authenticity. I’m embracing these lessons, sharing my journey on my YouTube channel, and seeking your support to spread the word about my work, despite tight budgets.
It’s tough when support dwindles, even from friends and family who used to cheer me on at dance events. But I’ve learned to move past the pain of feeling like a crab in a bucket, pulling me back, as I shared in my book.
Authenticity is key for me. My cousin Judie designed me a slogan with my native Vietnamese birth name, Khanh. Despite battling aphasia from a stroke, I’m here as Khanh, proudly supported once by my dance community with “You Khanh Do It” tees, though their presence has faded post-book.
3. I use this same slogan and motto in naming my book. It’s called, “You Khanh Do It, How to Manifest Your D.R.E.A.M.S” Right now on Amazon, it has a 4.9 rating with 35 ratings. And it has been on the market for two months, since Black Friday. These are the 2 reviews that I like the most, they are from greensky23 and Ellen Postolowski. You can read their stellar reviews that they left for me.
4. Next is “Believe It to Receive It” by Bernadette Rodebaugh. This book was a game-changer, showing me the power of overcoming depression and anxiety. Bernadette, now a friend and mentor, and I are building a community of miracles, gathering strength from each other’s stories.
5. Adam’s Kreek “Responsibility Ethic” taught me about leadership and the incremental wins that lead to success, inspired by his Olympic rowing experiences. It’s about doing your best to be part of the winning team. You can win by an inch! It taught me about taking inspired action, taking the first step of faith, like my YouTube channel, and producing this video.
6. “From Passive to Passionate” by Brian Luebben inspired me to chase dreams beyond the corporate grind, showcasing his journey to worldwide travel and passive income through podcasting. His book taught me that social media engagement is the new oil. So, give me a like and subscribe. Please leave me a comment below, as I enjoy reading your comments.
I’m here to remind you of the magic of reading. It’s not just about filling your mind with new information; it’s about enriching your soul and silencing your voices in your mind. It is better to offset your mind versus be entertained by watching a movie. You set up the scenes however you want. You can’t do this in a movie. In the end, let’s keep turning those pages together!
