Help and Seek

January 2024
February 1, 2024I’m thrilled that my author friend, Bernadette Rodebaugh, recently gathered a team. She shared this exciting development in her book, Believe It To Receive It. That’s why I was overjoyed to join her Facebook group several years ago. One day, while scrolling through my news feed, I noticed her desire to form a miracle team. She asked, “Who wants to step up and lead the group?” Silence and crickets – no responses.
Without hesitation, I virtually raised my hand and volunteered. I assured her that, despite my speech impediment from a stroke, I’m a natural-born leader. However, I acknowledged that the team might face challenges in understanding me clearly.
This led to Bernadette finding a co-leader, Jeri, the author of the two books. One was called Behind the Chair, and the other was The ABC’s of Never Having Another Bad Hair Day! She also has a PHD in psychotherapy. After further discussion, she might be busy running her many businesses. I wish her many successes!
Most of our members wanted a Zoom meeting to take place at noon on Saturday. I mentioned to Bernadette that I’d assume the leadership role without a co-pilot, despite my condition. I had already plan out the agenda for the 7-week course I envision. The course is a fantastic way to share my DREAMS framework, with each letter representing a week. It’s an excellent opportunity for me to share it with the group and promote my book.
To stay organized, I structured the course and created a Trello board for the group. This is a preliminary outline that I have in mind, ensuring everything is in order before our meeting. This plan is not only great for the group to achieve their miracles but also for me to promote my book.
I expressed to Bernadette that forming the group was a miracle, and I will gladly take charge. Bernadette mentioned her busy schedule with her second book but assured cameo appearances now and then.
Furthermore, I received an editorial review of the book this week from an online book club, bringing immense joy as it came back with a 5-star rating. The original review can be seen here. It’s a validation and vindication of my efforts. The editorial piece is now on Amazon, and I’m immensely grateful for the positive rating.
Additionally, I completed my audiobook last week, soon to be available on Amazon’s Audible through ACX. I’m thrilled with the work done, using various voices, including clones of Morgan Freeman’s deep voice, Yoda’s voice from Star Wars, and even my pre-stroke voice cloned with AI software from ElevenLabs.
I utilized the audiobook as a freebie, or lead magnet, encouraging users to sign up for my email autoresponder. I’m eagerly anticipating the weekend and beyond. A heartfelt thank you to Bernadette for bringing together this miracle team – a group destined for greatness and magic.
In closing, Bernadette likes delicious miracles, so she would enjoy our miraclicious team. It is a miracle to form this team. I believe we will perform many miracles yet to come. Our goals for the miracle team are to have a safe place and to encourage each other to perform miracles. It is currently a pilot program until we get more interest and demand.
