The universe delivered at my command, but it was something I least expected.

I discovered when I repeatedly dared the universe to let me stay at home on a permanent basis, it answered my wish by giving me this stroke. I affirmed this same message over the years when I was stuck in traffic driving to and from work.
One of my favorite stories from Joseph Murphy’s book is how the father would give his right arm, so his daughter can heal from a rare skin disease. And, guess what happened? The father eventually lost his right arm in a car accident which allowed his daughter to miraculously recover. I forgot to mention my own affirmations gave me a stroke in my book.

Let’s start with the basics. The human mind is often compared to an iceberg. The conscious mind is like the tip of the iceberg above the water—what you’re aware of. However, the subconscious mind is the massive part below the surface and it could be laying doormat. It is the subconscious mind influencing your thoughts, behaviors, and actions in profound ways without you even realizing it.
The subconscious mind stores your memories, beliefs, habits, and experiences. It’s the part of your brain that controls automatic functions like breathing and heart rate. But beyond that, it plays a crucial role in shaping your reality.
Your hidden power lies within. The power of the subconscious mind lies in its ability to absorb and process information continuously. It doesn’t distinguish between what’s real and what’s imagined; it accepts everything you feed it. This means that your thoughts and beliefs, whether positive or negative, can deeply influence your subconscious mind.
Your subconscious mind is like a baby elephant’s foot locked up to a chain, and once it gets older it can easily break free of this chain, but it doesn’t because it got conditioned with the chain being on its foot.
Hence, the conscious mind is the gatekeeper. It’s like a guard dog watching over the junkyard. Or a bouncer allowing you in at an exclusive VIP club. It is all mental. Do you feel this is you? All it takes is a shift in your beliefs.
**For example**, if you constantly tell yourself, “I’m not good enough,” your subconscious mind believes it and works to make it your reality. On the flip side, if you affirm, “I am capable and successful,” your subconscious mind will find ways to prove it true.
So, how do you harness the Subconscious Mind?
Now that you understand its power, let’s talk about how to harness it to improve your life. Here are some practical steps:
1. **Positive Affirmations**
Positive affirmations are statements that you repeat to yourself regularly to instill positive beliefs in your subconscious mind. They help reprogram your subconscious and can lead to significant changes in your mindset and behavior.
– **Examples of positive affirmations** include:
– “I am confident and capable.”
– “How come I am successful, happy, and abundant?”
– “Every day, in every way, I am getting better and better.”
– “Why am I so loved by people everywhere that I go?”
To make affirmations effective, repeat them daily, preferably in the morning and before bed, when your subconscious mind is more receptive and malleable. These are the same affirmations that I script daily in my journey app. These affirmations get me excited and pumped for the day!
2. **Visualization**
Remember what I said about visualization. First, you have to go internal, this is your imagination. Then you get to release externally, this is your reality. Your reality has to catch up to your imagination. As within, so without.
Visualization involves creating a mental image of your desired outcome. When you visualize, you engage your subconscious mind by imagining your goals as already achieved. This can significantly impact your motivation and actions.
For effective visualization like Neville Gddard said, “Feeling is the secret.” Remember to picture your goal in vivid detail. Imagine how it looks, feels, and sounds with your 5 senses in your imagination. Spend a few minutes each day visualizing your success.
For instance, I imagined walking again. I hear a loud applause from my closest friends and families in the audience as I make my way to deliver a public speech at my big party!
3. **Meditation**
Meditation helps you connect with your subconscious mind by quieting and subduing the conscious mind and reducing mental clutter. It enhances self-awareness and allows you to access deeper layers of your subconscious. I meditate everyday like taking a daily shower. It allows me to quiet my mind so I can speak directly to my divine God.

Identifying and reprogramming negative beliefs is crucial for harnessing the power of your subconscious mind. Here’s how you can do it:
1. **Identify Negative Beliefs**
First, become aware of the negative beliefs that are holding you back. These might be thoughts like “I’m not smart enough” or “I’ll never be successful.” Negative beliefs are false, they just lies that your mind accepts as true.
– **Journaling or Scripting can help**: Jot down any negative thoughts that come to mind. This can help you recognize patterns and triggers. I can’t physically write in a journal, so check out the journey app in the description down below.
2. **Challenge Negative Beliefs**
Once you’ve identified negative beliefs, challenge them. Ask yourself if they are really true. Often, you’ll find that these beliefs are based on past experiences or fear, not reality.
– **Replace Negative Beliefs with Positive Ones**: For each negative belief, create a positive affirmation. For example, change “I’m not smart enough” to “I am intelligent and capable.”
3. **Repetition and Consistency**
Bruce Lee said, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” Consistency is key when reprogramming your subconscious mind. Regularly repeating positive words or using robotic affirmations and visualizations reinforces new, positive beliefs. But also be careful with negative affirmations, otherwise you’ll get a stroke like me.

Moreover, here are some Real-Life Applications from my own personal life.
Whenever I meditate, go to sleep, or nap, I subdue the conscious mind to allow the subconscious mind to solve some complex software problems. My conscious mind can’t hack the solution in the current reality, so when I fall asleep, my subconscious mind will continue to solve this problem I had in mind.

By using positive affirmations, visualization, and meditation, you can reprogram your subconscious to align with your desires and goals.
